Я не установил a Publish directory , потому что он перезаписан скриптом /.next , и это правильная папка.
Кто-нибудь может определить, что я делаю неправильно, и что мне нужно изменить, чтобы это исправить?

В аналогичной ситуации, не через Netifly, удаление существующей pages папки на сервере остановило перенаправление 404.
Однако в Netifly Прабху в своем ответе ссылался на сообщение в блоге netifly, в котором объясняется:
Без явного перенаправления боты Netlify предполагают, что вы запрашиваете страницу, отдельную от /index.html и поскольку эта страница на самом деле не существует, она возвращает ошибку. Чтобы включить чистые URL-адреса в развернутых службах поддержки Netlify, добавьте следующее правило в файл перенаправления.
