2. Да, это так. У меня была эта проблема, и я даже переустановил текущую Android Studio на всякий случай.
3. проверьте, является ли ваш mPaint или mCanvas нулевым, установив точку останова.

Android Studio 4.0.0 работает отлично, но 4.1.0 и 4.2.0 выдают ошибки и нестабильны. Поэтому, пожалуйста, используйте Android Studio 4.0.0, спасибо
